You will be aware that since the Academy closed in March, we have continued to provide online learning which we are continually evaluating and improving to help ensure that students remain focused on their education during these unprecedented times. Particularly for Year 10, who will be facing their Key Stage 4 examinations in as little as a year, it is important that students engage in their learning as much as they possibly can.
With this in mind, we are now trialling a series of live lessons to further help students engage in their learning. This will allow students to hear directly from staff, and ask any questions as they arise during their learning. Initial lessons will take place as soon as Monday 18th May 2020, and a small number of groups will be invited to attend lessons during the week for: English, Mathematics, Science, French, and Geography. Following this we then hope to extend live lessons wider and involve other year groups.
Invitations will be sent to students via their Academy email address. Only those who are invited should attend. Once in the lesson, students will not be permitted to share webcams and all lessons will be recorded for safeguarding purposes.
If you have any queries regarding these live lessons, please do email us here, and your question will be directed to the most appropriate person.
